HLL Lifecare Ltd, a Govt of India Enterprise under the administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare established in 1967 with the aim to cater to the country’s family planning programme has now grown into an organization offering a wide spectrum of products and services in the healthcare domain with a strong global presence. HLL has been at the forefront of barrier protection methods for family planning and HIV/AIDS control. Over the last five decades, HLL Lifecare Ltd has diversified into different areas of health care and services – namely, hospital products (blood bags, sutures, hydrocephalus shunts and tissue expanders), women’s healthcare products (intrauterine devices, pregnancy test kits, contraceptive pills, and menstrual hygiene devices) as well as medical infrastructure, diagnostics, and procurement and facility management services.
